Over the years a number of companies implemented cutesy programs referring to E’s.

Better known as E’s Shit.

An employer is not your friend. They are just your employer.  The decision to have you as an employee is based purely on economics.  As long as your labour (and good behavior) is useful in achieving a profit you remain employed.  This is not common knowledge for enough people.   You’re nodding your head right?  The fact that our nations trade practices are reducing the value of the American worker is another thing.  The appearance of ethical practices and morals also have economic value.  This also comes at a cost/price.  If the cost/price of the "Es" become too great then they are just ditched/spun off.  Just like an employee or pension plan.  Which is usually counter to the code of ethics. :-)   The bottom line is just that.  The bottom line.  Everything else is just window dressing.

E's..Shit.  The workers can just be retrained...Yea.  Let me guess there are plenty of companies around offering good pay, long term security, and fair benefit packages.....
